If you’re looking for the latest toy news and what’s coming next, this isn’t the best place for that. This is a place where someone who’s loved toys since they were a little kid in the early 1970s, who’s dabbled in all kinds of genres of toys ever since; someone who can remember where each of their toys were purchased by their parent (Two Guys, Woolworths, GEMCO, Zodys, KMart, Target, Toys ‘R’ Us, JCPenny, Mervyns, BEST Products, The Broadway, Kay Bee Toy Store, Sears, Montgomery Ward…some random mom & pop store at The Cannery in San Francisco, the amazing “Pony Toy-Go-Round” import store in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles in the 1970s and 80s, Macy’s etc.); someone who has a story to share about it and wants to share.
